A tranquil, flat region surrounded by a more rural environment may be found at La Gucima, a portion of Alajuela that is constantly expanding. Route 27 links to La Guácima and is only ten minutes from Santa Ana; however, it may also be reached through San Antonio de Belén. To the west and south of this relaxed region are the adjacent communities of Brasil de Mora and La Garita. The temperature of La Guácima ranges from 61 to 88 degrees Fahrenheit.

The little village of La Gucima has a supermarket, essential services, and nearby restaurants. Some of the most exclusive gated condominiums in the country are available in places like Los Reyes, with the nearby Hacienda Espinal community giving the first one’s own country club. Less than ten minutes separate the Country Day and Saint Paul schools. The sole automobile racing track is located in La Guacima, which also shares grounds with Parque Viva, which hosts events, concerts, and other types of entertainment. La Guacima is renowned for its horse facilities and services.
