Piedades
Piedades is a city and district number five of the canton of Santa Ana, in the province of San José, in Costa Rica, founded in 1907. It is located west of the canton and has a land area of 12.01 km².1 The district limited to the north with the districts of Pozos and Brasil, to the east with the district of Uruca, to the west with the canton of Mora, and to the south it limits with the district of Salitral.
Piedades offers a diverse range of activities and sights, making a trip there well worthwhile. Sightseeing tours, hiking, water activities, and sports, entertainment centers, gardens, and architecture are the main attractions of Piedades.
The Traditional Costa Rican community of Santa Ana has access to a number of contemporary services, including the neighboring CIMA Hospital and Medical Tower. In addition, Santa Ana is home to the MultiPlaza, the biggest mall in Costa Rica, as well as a number of luxurious hotels, including the Intercontinental and the Marriott Courtyard.
Santa Ana is home to many professional golf courses and a country club with hiking trails, tennis, yoga, pilates, soccer, squash, a gym, a putting green, a sauna, a spa, and swimming pools for individuals interested in sports and fitness. Over the past several years, cycling has grown in popularity in Costa Rica, and the rocky hills of Santa Ana have become a favorite cycling destination.
