Tres Rios

Tres Ríos in Puntarenas (Provincia de Puntarenas) is a town in Costa Rica about 75 miles (or 120 kilometers) west of San Jose, the country’s capital city.

In the surrounding area, there is one Unesco World Heritage Site. Within 84 miles (or 136 kilometers) to the northeast is where you’ll find the Area de Conservación Guanacaste.

It is highly recommended that you make a visit to Zapotal, Bejuco, Tilaran, and Jaco while you are in this region.

Marina Ballena National Park is an additional notable attraction that is located close to Tres Rios. Visitors may unwind and take in the breathtaking views of the ocean while they are here. However, the reserve’s marine fauna is the attraction that draws the most visitors. Just off the shore of the park are five distinct, beautiful coral reefs, and the waters surrounding the attraction are also home to sea turtles, bottlenose dolphins, and humpback whales, all of which are regular views during migration season. In addition, tourists may have the opportunity to see other types of whales, such as melon-headed whales and sperm whales.

Playa Uvita, Playa Ventanas, Playa Pinuela, Playa Tortuga, and many more beautiful beaches can be found in this area.
