123-Acre Farm in the Uvita Mountains

Set in San Josecito de Morete, above Uvita, this 123-acre farm splits roughly four-fifths forest and one-fifth cleared pasture. The Rio Morete traces the lower boundary before reaching the ocean near Marino Ballena National Park, and an existing road links several potential homesites through the middle of the land.

Cattle graze the property today under a conservation-minded management plan, with springs and river water feeding both livestock and crops. Citrus, avocado, pineapple, papaya, and mango all grow across the fertile ground, and pasture areas support horses and goats alongside the cattle. Waterfalls fed by the springs and river cut through several sections of the farm.
